If you complete 3 tasks with Delta’s partners by October 5, you can earn 2,600 bonus SkyMiles and a $50 gift card.

Tasks are completed with partners, meaning you don’t have to fly anywhere. Instead, you’ll rent a car, go out to eat, and buy some coffee. Let’s take a look at how this works.

Delta’s Partner Promotion Details

You’ll find this offer in the promotions tab when logged in to your Delta SkyMiles account. You need to register for this promotion by July 5, 2025 — and you must register before completing the tasks.

Once registered, here are the tasks and the bonuses available with each:

  • 100 bonus miles with Starbucks: Link your Delta and Starbucks accounts, reload your Starbucks card with $50, and then receive 100 bonus SkyMiles.
  • 1,500 bonus miles with SkyMiles Dining: For new customers who join SkyMiles Dining and spend $30 or more at an eligible restaurant, you’ll earn 1,500 bonus SkyMiles. You must complete a survey and opt in to emails as part of this task.
  • 1,000 bonus miles with Delta Cars: Spend $400 or more on a rental (excluding taxes and fees) with Delta Cars to earn 1,000 bonus SkyMiles.

Members who complete all of these tasks by October 5, 2025, will earn 2,600 SkyMiles and also be rewarded with a $50 Delta gift card.

Is It Worth It?

First, let’s look at some of the restrictions on the Delta gift card. These gift cards can be used for Delta-marketed flights only, and you can only apply them to the cost of transportation — not to any taxes, fees, cash copays on award ticket redemptions, seat upgrades, or other ancillaries.

Next, there’s a cost involved in completing this promotion. Do you need a rental car, and is the price fair when booking through Delta Cars, rather than other booking options? Also, have you participated in SkyMiles Dining before? If so, you aren’t eligible for that task.

Lastly, not everyone needs $50 on a Starbucks card. If you’re making these purchases anyway, this is a nice promotion.

We value Delta SkyMiles at 1.2 cents apiece. That makes 2,600 SkyMiles worth $31.20. Combined with a $50 gift card, you can earn $81.20 in rewards from a minimum of $480 in spending. Should you go out of your way to earn this bonus? No. Is this a great offer for anyone whose shopping, dining, and travel plans line up with the dates and tasks? Definitely.

Final Thoughts

By completing 3 tasks with Delta’s partners, you can earn 2,600 SkyMiles and a $50 gift card. You’ll need to register for this offer by July 5 and complete the tasks by October 5, 2025. There’s no flying involved, but the rewards available aren’t worth extra effort. Instead, this is a nice bonus for those whose plans already line up with the promotion’s requirements.
