Check your Discover accounts. The issuer is currently offering spend bonuses to targeted card members. Offers are being sent via email, and Danny Deal Guru reports that members are receiving one of 3 different offers.

Discover is known to send these offers out once per quarter, so it’s worth checking your email if you have a Discover card in your wallet. This time around, 2 offers give you bonus cash-back on select purchases, while another offers a $100 cash-back bonus after spending $1,000 by March 31, 2025.

Let’s examine these offers more closely to determine whether they’re a good deal.

New Targeted Discover Bonus Cash-Back Offers

As mentioned, Discover is emailing targeted bonus offers to existing card members. Each will be awarded as a “Cashback Bonus,” which can be redeemed for statement credits, gift cards, charity donations, or a direct deposit to your bank account. You can also redeem Discover cash-back through Apple Pay, Amazon, and PayPal.

Discover cardholders may be targeted for one of the following offers. All offers end on March 31, 2025:

  • Earn an extra $100 Cashback Bonus when you make $1,000 in new purchases.
  • Earn an extra 6% Cashback Bonus on up to $1,000 in new purchases made with a digital wallet.
  • Earn an extra 4% Cashback Bonus on up to $2,000 in new purchases.

It’s worth enrolling and taking advantage of the offer if you’re targeted and can meet the spending requirement organically. The $100 bonus for spending $1,000 on your card is the best offer as it’s effectively a 10% return on spending. That said, any of the 3 offers provides a nice bonus on your everyday spending.

Hot Tip:

These bonuses are earned in addition to the cash-back you already earn with your eligible Discover card. This includes cash-back earned from Discover’s quarterly rotating 5% cash-back categories, which include restaurants, home improvement stores, and select streaming services this quarter.

Final Thoughts

Discover is sending bonus cash-back offers to targeted card members. Check your email to see if your account is eligible, and activate the offer if you are. These offers give you up to $100 bonus cash-back that you can redeem for statement credits, gift cards, and more. Just make sure to complete your spending by March 31, 2025, when the offer ends.
