In what has become something of an annual tradition, Disney has just unveiled its latest round of price increases, covering everything from 1-day tickets to annual passes and Lightning Lanes.

The silver lining, though, is that the cheapest tickets didn’t change, so the starting price remains the same. Disneyland’s lowest-priced 1-day ticket is still $104, and its most expensive is still $224.

The price increase did hit midtier tickets, Park Hopper tickets, Lightning Lanes, and annual passes at Walt Disney World.

Let’s take a look at the latest changes.

Disneyland Ticket Price Increases

As of today, October 6, 2026, Disneyland has raised prices for 1-day tickets in 4 of its 7 date-based tiers, all going up by $5 each, as first reported by Mickey Visit. The lowest tier and the top 2 tiers stayed put.

Tickets for children in tiers 1 to 4 also rose by $5. Meanwhile, multiday 1-park tickets, Magic Key passes, and parking costs haven’t hanged. That means a 2-day ticket still costs $335 and a 5-day ticket $520.

Park Hopper Tickets

The biggest change affects Park Hopper tickets. This add-on now starts at $75, up from $70. Add that to the price increase on base tickets, and that means 3 tiers for 1-day Park Hopper jumped by $15.

Light Lane Multi Pass

Disney’s skip-the-line Lighting Lane service now costs $1 more. Lightning Lane Multi Pass now costs $35 per person when purchased with tickets (in advance), up from the previous $34. Same-day pricing now starts at $38 instead of $37.

Walt Disney World Price Increases

Walt Disney World in Florida has higher prices, too, and the biggest jumps affect both pass holders and big spenders. All of the annual pass tiers cost more, and the top price for Lighting Lane Premier Pass went up by $50.

How Disney’s Prices Have Changed Over Time

While today’s price increases look small on their own, they’re part of a yearslong trend of price increases.

Here’s how that trend looks over the past decade:

+84.68%

Disney’s price-increase strategy looks clearer when analyzing the trend over time. The entry-level price has been mostly protected, but nearly everything above that goes up each year. Disneyland’s $104 base ticket hasn’t changed since 2019, but the 5-Day Park Hopper has nearly doubled in the past decade. Line-skipping cost $10 when it was called MaxPass in 2017. It’s $35 now.

At a recent conference, Disney CFO Hugh Johnston said the company holds prices down during value periods to bring in young families. Then the company sells extras like Lightning Lane and VIP tours to guests who are willing to spend more.

For comparison, Pollstar data cited by Mickey Visit shows the average ticket price for the top 100 touring acts rose 56.66% from 2016 to 2026. Disney’s top-end prices grew faster than concert tickets for big-name concerts.

There is one thing that bucked the trend this year: Disneyland’s top-tier ticket price didn’t increase — the first time we’ve been able to say that in a decade.

You should take Disney’s affordability message with a grain of salt. Disneyland offered the $104 ticket on 56 days in 2026, nearly 3 weeks more than in 2025. However, there are 38 Tier 0 days (the cheapest tickets) between October 6, 2026, and May 31, 2027. That’s down from 42 in the comparable period a year earlier. A low pricing band only means something if you can find a date charging that price.

Final Thoughts

In this year’s installment of price increases, Disneyland’s cheapest and most expensive 1-day tickets were unchanged. Midtier tickets and add-ons saw upward movement, though.

If you can visit on a Tier 0 day and only visit a single park that day, you’ll pay the same as you would have paid back in 2019. Most other guests will pay a little bit more, and those small bumps in pricing each year add up over time.

Just ask anyone buying a 5-Day Park Hopper ticket, which now costs nearly twice as much as it did 10 years ago.
