The largest pharmacy chain in the U.S. has a new partnership with one of our favorite frequent flyer programs.

CVS Pharmacy has teamed up with Air France-KLM Flying Blue to allow members of the loyalty program to earn points at an elevated rate for a limited time through its new Flying Blue+ app.

Let’s take a look at the details.

Earn Flying Blue Miles at an Elevated Rate on CVS Purchases

Right now, Flying Blue members can earn bonus miles on purchases at CVS through the new Flying Blue+ app.

To take advantage of the offer, Flying Blue members must add a credit card to their payment methods within the Flying Blue+ app (iOS, Android). Then, make purchases at CVS online or at one of the more than 10,000 physical locations nationwide with the enrolled credit card. Through August 24, 2025, valid purchases will earn 25 Flying Blue miles for every $10 spent.

Flying Blue is one of our favorite loyalty programs in the industry for a few reasons. First, it unlocks redemptions (often at a great value) on a huge number of carriers globally, as Air France and KLM are among the most important carriers in the SkyTeam alliance.

Second, it’s easy to earn lots of Flying Blue miles. The program has partnerships with just about all of the major transferable rewards programs, including American Express Membership Rewards, Bilt Rewards, Brex Rewards, Capital One miles, Chase Ultimate Rewards, Citi ThankYou Rewards, and Marriott Bonvoy.

This means points you earn in any of these programs via daily spending can be transferred to Flying Blue and then used to book flights to destinations worldwide — often at favorable rates.

What makes this promotion so appealing is the way it turbocharges potential earnings in the Flying Blue program. Many of us visit CVS at least weekly, and it’s easy to spend money there — whether on prescription medication or everyday necessities like deodorant, toothpaste, snacks, and so much more.

Final Thoughts

The sole downside to this promotion is that it only runs through August 24. However, between now and then, you can earn Flying Blue miles at elevated rates on CVS purchases as long as you link a payment method within the Flying Blue+ app and then use it for those purchases.
