Emirates Skywards and ALL – Accor Live Limitless loyalty program members can now enjoy enhanced reciprocal benefits from the partnership between the 2 brands.

The most significant update is that members can now enjoy 2-way point conversions, allowing Skywards Miles to be converted into ALL Reward Points and vice versa.

“At Emirates Skywards, we’re constantly exploring new ways to help our members maximize the value of every Skywards Mile earned and redeemed,” said Dr. Nejib Ben Khedher, divisional senior vice president of Emirates Skywards. “And our enhanced partnership with ALL – Accor’s loyalty program will offer exactly that.”

Let’s take a look at this new reciprocal perk for Emirates Skywards and ALL – Accor Live Limitless members.

Points Can Be Converted Both Ways Between Emirates and Accor

Emirates Skywards and ALL – Accor Live Limitless, the loyalty programs of the Dubai-based airline and France-based hospitality company, respectively, have worked together for several years, providing members with reciprocal opportunities to earn and redeem rewards across both programs.

Now, the partnership is introducing 2-way conversions between Skywards Miles and ALL Reward Points, allowing members of both loyalty programs to enjoy incredible experiences across Accor and Emirates’ footprint and network.

Is It Worth It?

The conversion rates work as follows:

  • Convert 4,000 Skywards Miles, receive 1,000 ALL Reward Points, for a ratio of 4:1
  • Convert 4,000 ALL Reward Points, receive 2,000 Skywards Miles, for a ratio of 2:1

When redeeming All Reward Points for a hotel stay, you’ll receive a fixed redemption value of €40 (~$47) off for every 2,000 Reward points redeemed, equivalent to around 2.35 cents per point.

For instance, if you have Skywards Miles and want to transfer them to ALL for a hotel that costs $120 per night, you’ll need to transfer 24,000 Emirates Skywards to get 6,000 ALL Rewards Points.

Given that we value Emirates Skywards at 1.1 cents per point, the 24,000 points transferred are worth $264, which does not represent a favorable redemption for a hotel room priced at $120 per night.

Conversely, ALL members can convert their ALL Reward Points to Skywards Miles, with 4,000 ALL Reward Points equaling 2,000 Skywards Miles. If you want to book an Emirates flight and have tons of ALL Rewards Points, there could be a good reason to convert.

However, most travelers are unlikely to derive significant value from this new conversion benefit. That being said, if you have unused ALL Rewards Points or Emirates Skywards and are unsure how to spend them, you now have greater flexibility and options.

Final Thoughts

Emirates and Accor continue to enhance their partnership, this time by introducing point conversions between the 2 programs.

The ability to transfer points and miles in both directions between Emirates and Accor is a positive step forward, giving members even more options for using their points and miles.
