A robot will greet Emirates passengers at the airline’s new City Check-in and Travel Store hub at ICD Brookfield Place in the heart of Dubai’s financial district.

This innovation in Emirates’ customer experience will mean passengers will spend less time at the airport before flying.

“Emirates City Check-In is our latest addition to the Emirates travel experience, showing our commitment to providing customers with an array of check-in options,” said Adel al Redha, chief operating officer at Emirates.

Let’s take a look at what this could mean for you on your next Emirates flight departing from Dubai.

Emirates New Check-in and Shopping Facility

Emirates’ new City Check-in facility means passengers departing from the airline’s global hub at Dubai International Airport can drop off their luggage between 4 hours and 24 hours before their departure.

The facility can be used by Emirates passengers flying in all cabins and is open between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. daily.

IIn addition to check-in agents from Emirates, the world’s first check-in robot Sara will also be on hand to assist passengers.

Sara is not just your average robot. She’ll be able to check you in by matching your face with your scanned passport and then guide you to the designated luggage dropoff area.

The contemporary space in bustling ICD Brookfield Place also provides the opportunity to book Emirates tickets and buy travel merchandise.

Hot Tip:

Emirates is often regarded as one of the best airlines in the world to fly with — especially when luxuriating in its business and first-class cabins. You, too, can do exactly that for less than you’d think by earning lots of Emirates Skywards Miles and using them instead of spending your cash.

Not only that, but passengers will benefit from complimentary access or discounts at some of the lifestyle and dining facilities at ICD Brookfield Place simply by showing their boarding pass.

Whether its a pre-flight 1Rebel workout or a delicious meal at Josette, Emirates has levelled up its customer ground experience once again.

Once passengers are ready to depart for Dubai International Airport, they can connect directly to the airport by taxi, Emirates chauffeur service from the check-in facility, or private transport, which features paid valet parking and self-parking.

The Financial Centre Metro Station, where travelers can connect directly to Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport, is also within walking distance for those who prefer to go on foot and is only a 10-minute walk away.

Final Thoughts

Emirates passengers departing Dubai can now significantly reduce their time spent at the airport by checking in and dropping off their luggage at the airline’s new state-of-the-art facility in the city’s financial district.

The new city check-in location at Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is just one more way that Emirates goes above and beyond for its customers.
