Hungry? If you’re not now, you likely will be after reading this.

Dubai-based Emirates has just announced an array of 18 new dishes that will be served to its business class passengers starting this summer.

The dishes, created by renowned Chef Jean Michel Bardet and Doxis Bekris, vice president of culinary design at Emirates, each come with a recommended Champagne pairing.

Let’s tuck into all the delectable details.

Emirates’ New Business Class Dishes

Emirates‘ newest selection of business class starters and main courses can be enjoyed on select routes from May 2025.

Emirates has long been known for serving high-quality meals in its premium cabins. These new options will be released after spending over a year in development — and business class passengers can expect to be in for a treat.

Starter options include this vegan silken tofu dish, served with poached asparagus in a soy and olive oil emulsion with lemon gel and cashew cream. Emirates recommends a glass of Moët and Chandon Brut Impérial as the perfect companion.

For mains, lovers of delights from the deep will be sure to enjoy this seared Chilean seabass served with artichoke puree, sugar snap peas, and lemongrass sauce. Moët and Chandon Brut Impérial is also the suggested pairing for this dish.

Another dish worth spotlighting is this hearty roast turkey and mashed potato dish served with braised fennel and almonds with a sage chicken jus to finish. To wash it down in style, Bardet and Bekris suggest a glass (or 2) of Moët and Chandon Grand Vintage 2016 as the perfect companion.

Other dishes mentioned by Emirates in its announcement include roasted duck served with braised aubergine, chickpeas, and cherry tomatoes with a ras-el-hanout-spiced couscous jus to finish and the vegan option of braised lentils with coconut served with steamed basmati rice, spiced cauliflower, green peaks, and naan bread. Both, of course, come with a suggested Champagne pairing.

Hot Tip:

Onboard catering isn’t the only thing Emirates is leveling up in 2025. In January, the airline launched a high-tech business class on its brand-new Airbus A350. The new cabins are being introduced as part of a wider project to phase out some of its more outdated business class products.

Final Thoughts

Passengers flying Emirates business class (on still-unspecified routes, at least) will get to enjoy some new dishes starting in May.

We’re eager to learn which routes these new meals will be served on and, of course, to try them for ourselves as soon as possible!
