Emirates travelers flying to or from the United States will have an enhanced experience across all cabins, with redesigned interiors of Emirates’ Boeing 777-300s, including new business class seats and a premium economy cabin, scheduled to launch on November 1, 2024.

Here’s where and when you can fly Emirates’ refurbished Boeing 777-300s, which now have new business class and premium economy seats.

Emirates Retrofitted Boeing 777-300s With New Business Class and Premium Economy

Emirates will launch its refurbished Boeing 777-300s on 6 routes in the U.S., including its new lie-flat business class seat with a 1-2-1 configuration. This is a significant improvement over its present 2-3-2 angle-flat seat.

The retrofitted Boeing 777s are set to debut in the U.S. next month and will continue until early 2025, following this schedule:

The retrofitted 4-class Boeing 777-300s will feature 6 or 8 first-class suites, 38 or 40 business-class seats, 24 seats in premium economy, and 256 economy-class seats.

It is worth noting that 2 of Emirates’ most popular fifth-freedom routes for U.S. travelers — Miami (MIA) to Bogotá (BOG) and Newark to Athens — will be served by the updated aircraft, which will feature Emirates’ trademark product touches.

Furthermore, with the introduction of its newly retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft, flights to and from 10 of the 12 gateways in Emirates’ U.S. network will feature the airline’s new premium economy cabin by February 2025.

“With the success and popularity of Premium Economy on routes like New York JFK, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Houston served by our refurbished A380, we look forward to bringing a new level of comfort and privacy to more cities with refreshed cabins on our Boeing 777s,” said Adnan Kazim, Deputy President, and Chief Commercial Officer at Emirates.

Hot Tip:

Luckily, there are many ways to earn Emirates Skywards miles so you can try its new business class (or premium economy) by using points instead of cash. There are even U.S.-based credit cards, like the Emirates Skywards Premium World Elite Mastercard®, which earns 3x per $1 on Emirates flights.

Final Thoughts

U.S. travelers eager to fly Emirates should be thrilled that the airline is introducing its all-new business class and premium economy experience on select Boeing 777-300s across several U.S. cities. This features a revamped 1-2-1 layout in business class.

I’m not sure about you, but I plan to experience Emirates’ newest business class on the 3-hour fifth-freedom flight from Miami to Bogota, Colombia next year!
