Update:

The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

Emirates is jumping into 2025 with both feet, offering double Skywards miles on all flights — that’s all fare classes and all destinations worldwide. This Skywards promotion includes both Emirates and flydubai flights to more than 225 airports.

Eligible travel dates run for the next few months, but you’ll need to book by January 24, 2025.

Here’s what you need to know about this new Skywards promotion.

Skywards Promotion for Double Miles

Skywards is the rewards program for both Emirates and its low-cost sibling flydubai. Right now, you can earn double Skywards miles on all flights across the network for both airlines. This offer includes all fare classes as well.

That covers more than 225 destinations worldwide, and eligible travel runs from January 15 to March 23, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. in Dubai (that’s 2:59 p.m. ET in the U.S.). You’ll need to book by January 24, however.

You’ll need to register for this promotion before January 24, 2025.

There are some terms you should know about:

  • Register for the promotion and book your flights by January 24, 2025.
  • Fly between January 15 and March 23, 2025.
  • Only tickets booked directly with Emirates or flydubai are eligible.
  • Only flights eligible for earning miles will qualify, which means award tickets are excluded.
  • Bonus miles are calculated based on your original booking before any promotions or upgrades are applied.
  • Emirates’ eligible fares include Special, Saver, Flex, and Flex Plus in economy, premium economy, business, or first class.
  • Eligible flydubai fares include Lite, Value, and Flex in economy or Business fares in business class.
  • Codeshare and interline flights are excluded.
  • Cannot be combined with other offers. If you qualify for a bonus on a flight from another offer, only the higher promotion will apply.
Hot Tip:

Looking for ideas on how to earn more Skywards miles or redeem your miles in valuable ways? We’ve got you covered.

Is It Worth It?

We value Skywards miles at 1.1 cents apiece. Earning double that amount provides an extra 1.1% return on your spending, which is not a huge amount.

It’s even smaller when you consider the cost of some Emirates tickets. Should you rush to book a $10,000 first-class ticket just to earn double Skywards miles? No. Is this a nice offer if you were considering an Emirates or flydubai flight anyway? Certainly.

This promotion is most valuable for people with upcoming travel plans that already align with the offer. If you’re planning flights with Emirates or flydubai before March 23, 2025, you’re in luck. You can earn double Skywards miles. For anyone else, it’s probably not worth rearranging your travel plans.

Final Thoughts

Flying with Emirates or flydubai can give you double Skywards miles for the next few months. You’ll need to register for this promotion and book your flights by January 24 to qualify, and you’ll need to travel between January 15 and March 23. This is a nice offer for those with corresponding travel plans, but it’s not enough to book flights you weren’t already planning to take.
