Emirates is back with its promotion awarding double tier miles on all flights — that’s all fare classes and all destinations worldwide. This Skywards promotion includes both Emirates and flydubai flights to more than 225 airports.

Eligible travel dates run until the end of June, but you’ll need to book by May 4, 2025.

Here’s what you need to know about this new Skywards promotion for double tier miles toward elite status.

Skywards Promotion for Double Tier Miles

Skywards is the rewards program for both Emirates and its low-cost sibling, flydubai. Right now, you can earn double tier miles on all flights across the network for both airlines. This offer includes all fare classes as well. Tier miles are what you need to move up the status ranks in the Skywards program.

This offer covers more than 225 destinations worldwide, and eligible travel runs from May 1 to June 20, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. in Dubai (that’s 2:59 p.m. ET in the U.S.). The offer is only valid on flights booked before 2:59 p.m. ET on May 4, 2025

You’ll also need to register for this promotion before it ends on May 4.

As always with this kind of promotion, there are some terms and conditions to take into consideration:

  • Register for the promotion and book your flights by May 4, 2025.
  • Fly between May 1 and June 20, 2025.
  • Only tickets booked directly with Emirates or flydubai are eligible.
  • Only flights eligible for earning miles will qualify, which means award tickets are excluded.
  • Bonus tier miles are calculated based on your original booking before any promotions or upgrades are applied.
  • Emirates’ eligible fares include Special, Saver, Flex, and Flex Plus in economy, premium economy, business, or first class.
  • Eligible flydubai fares include Lite, Value, and Flex in economy or Business fares in business class.
  • Codeshare and interline flights are excluded.
  • Cannot be combined with other offers. If you qualify for a bonus on a flight from another offer, only the higher promotion will apply.
  • Passengers will earn the standard number of frequent flyer Skywards miles; these aren’t doubled with the current offer.
Hot Tip:

Looking for ideas on how to earn more Skywards miles or redeem your Skywards miles in valuable ways? We’ve got you covered.

Is It Worth It?

What’s the value you assign to elite status with Emirates Skywards? How far away are you from your status goals this year? The answers to those questions will shape the utility you find in this offer.

Should you rush to book a $10,000 first-class ticket just to earn double tier miles? No. Is this a nice offer if you were considering an Emirates or flydubai flight anyway? Certainly.

This promotion is most valuable for people with upcoming travel plans that already align with the offer or those already working on Skywards status who will happily receive double tier miles on flights they were planning to book anyway. If you’re planning flights with Emirates or flydubai between May 1 and June 20, 2025, you’re in luck. You can earn double tier miles. For anyone else, it’s probably not worth rearranging your travel plans — especially not for the sake of double status miles in a program whose elite status you don’t care about.

Final Thoughts

Flying with Emirates or flydubai can give you double tier miles for the next few months. You’ll need to register for this promotion and book your flights by May 4 to qualify, and you’ll need to travel between May 1 and June 20, 2025. This is a nice offer for those with corresponding travel plans, but it’s not enough to book flights you weren’t already planning to take.
