The first part of this deal is finding award availability. Thanks to Seats.aero, we found several business-class seats on Air Tahiti Nui from Los Angeles and Seattle to Tahiti.

For just 60,000 Alaska Mileage Plan miles, you can book lie-flat seats for the 8-hour flight to and from Papeete Tahiti Faa’a International Airport (PPT).

If you don’t have Alaska miles, don’t worry; we’ll cover that below.

These flights will be operated by Air Tahiti Nui on its Boeing 787-9 aircraft, which features 30 lie-flat business class seats. So you will arrive in paradise in comfort!

Best Ways To Book

Obviously, already having 60,000 Alaska miles in your account would be the best and easiest way to book. You also can transfer Bilt Rewards at a 1:1 ratio or Marriott Bonvoy points at a 3:1 ratio to your Alaska account.

However, you can now transfer American Express Membership Rewards to Hawaiian Airlines at a 1:1 ratio and then transfer from Hawaiian to Alaska.

That is where we will transition into the next part of this deal. Through November 15, you can buy Hawaiian Airlines HawaiianMiles with a 100% bonus.

That means you can buy 60,000 miles for $762, transfer them to Alaska (for free), and then book your business-class flight for less than an economy ticket! Remember you’ll also pay $19 when it’s time to book the ticket with miles.
