When IHG’s voco brand debuted in 2018, it quickly established itself as a premium brand offering accommodations that are “reliably different.” Voco hotels are typically located in major cities and situated in central areas.

But IHG is taking the boutique brand a step further by introducing its first voco resort with the opening of voco Quang Binh Resort – By IHG, in Vietnam.

Here’s everything you need to know about the resort and how to book it with IHG One Rewards points.

Voco Quang Binh Resort — Details

The new voco Quang Binh Resort – By IHG has 68 suites and beachfront villas, all between 462 and 3,230 square feet, with direct access to Bao Ninh beach.

Located in Dong Hoi, the capital of the Quang Binh province in central Vietnam, voco Quang Binh Resort offers a massive spa. It includes 17 treatment rooms, a foot spa, a hydrotherapy pool, a sauna room, and a salon. Other amenities include an indoor and outdoor pool, a pool bar, a fitness center, and an all-day restaurant serving Vietnamese fare and complimentary breakfast.

Voco is one of IHG’s fastest-growing brands. There are nearly 100 open hotels and another 95 in the pipeline. These include 2 coming to Southeast Asia later this year: voco Bandung Setiabund in Indonesia and voco Bangkok Surawong in Thailand.

While voco Quang Binh Resort marks the brand’s first resort property, according to IHG, it won’t be the last.

“This opening signals the start of our resorts expansion under voco hotels, and we’re excited for what lies ahead,” said Julie Cheesman, head of voco hotels.

How To Book

Whether you book with cash or plan to redeem IHG One Rewards points, rates at the voco Quang Binh Resort are incredibly affordable. You’ll find standard rooms for about $113 per night.

But the star of the show is with points. In fact, it’s one of the best deals for a resort property we’ve seen in a while. Award nights here start at around 17,000 IHG One Rewards points per night.

In fact, we aren’t seeing many dates over 25,000 points per night — making this one of the best points deals in the region.

Hot Tip:

Luckily, it’s very easy to earn IHG One Rewards points. You can sign up for and spend on one of IHG’s credit cards or transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards or Bilt Rewards points at a 1:1 ratio.

Final Thoughts

The swanky voco brand is expanding and has opened a high-end resort in Vietnam. This is fantastic news for travelers in itself, but voco Quang Binh Resort is perhaps one of the cheapest points options in the region. If you find yourself in Vietnam, this is a fantastic resort to earn and redeem IHG points!
