Florida residents can save big on visits to Walt Disney World this winter and spring, as the popular Florida Resident Discover Disney ticket is returning.

Depending on the package, Florida residents can save 40% on ticket packages, bringing the cost down to just $60 per day, plus tax.

Visits are subject to blockout dates and reservations, but this is a great way for locals to save at the parks.

Let’s take a look at the details.

Discover Disney Ticket Offer

Beginning January 7, 2025, Florida residents can purchase a Florida Resident Discover Disney ticket that can save up to 40% compared to regular prices.

These limited-time tickets are valid for park visits from January 13 through May 23, 2025. Blockout dates may apply, and reservations are required because they are non-dated tickets.

Ticket options include:

  • 3-Day Ticket: $225, plus tax
  • 4-Day Ticket: $240, plus tax

The 4-day ticket represents the biggest savings, dropping the daily admission cost to just $60, plus tax.

Since these are non-dated tickets, they do not need to be used on consecutive dates, so locals can use this deal on multiple trips to Orlando.

The Florida Resident Discover Disney ticket is valid for 1 theme park per day but can be upgraded to a Park Hopper or Water Park & Sports ticket for an additional cost.

Other Ways To Save at Disney

Even with a resident discount, a trip to Walt Disney World can be quite costly. But if you aren’t a local, or you are and want to save even more, there are a few extra ways to save at Disney.

Of courseusing points and miles to visit Disney is one of the best options for saving your hard-earned money.

Booking your flights and hotels with points and miles is a great way to offset other costs. With nearly every major hotel and airline operating in the Orlando area, numerous options exist to minimize those costs to almost $0.

When it comes to getting into the parks, choosing the best credit card for theme parks can earn you big rewards that can be used for future trips.

And don’t forget about meals while you’re enjoying the parks. Select packages can score you a free Disney dining plan, which can make sense if you are traveling later this year and plan on staying at a Disney Resort hotel.

Hot Tip:

If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel in 2025, you can enjoy free water park admission on your check-in day!

Final Thoughts

This Florida Resident Discover Disney ticket will be a great option for Florida residents, especially since park visits don’t need to be taken on consecutive days like in previous ticket packages. This means you can spread out your park visits over multiple trips to Orlando!

With tickets starting at just $60 per day, this is an excellent opportunity for locals to enjoy the parks without stretching their budget.
