Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is planting its flag on the Greek island of Mykonos, as it plans to open a property there next year.

Here’s what you need to know about this new luxury property.

Four Seasons Resort Mykonos Opening in Summer 2025

For a resort, the Four Seasons Resort Mykonos, Greece, will be on the smaller side. It offers 94 guest rooms, suites, and villas.

But where it may lack in room count, it more than makes up in space. The resort will be located on a whopping 650,000 square feet of land, which includes beaches and a coastal cliff.

Amenities will include several dining options, including an al fresco poolside Italian restaurant, an infinity pool overlooking the Aegean Sea, a fitness center, a spa, and meeting spaces.

The resort will officially open for guests next summer, joining the Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel in Athens. Tourists love Mykonos for its pristine beaches and reputation as a summer party destination. The island is served by Mykonos International Airport (JMK). If you’re visiting from the U.S., the easiest way to get there is by taking a ferry from Athens (ATH).

The hotel chain said that expanding Four Seasons’s presence in Greece has been a “key focus” for the brand.

“Following the success of our partnership with AGC Equity Partners on our award-winning hotel in Athens, we knew that this new resort in Mykonos would be the perfect addition to our portfolio in this beautiful country,” said Bart Carnahan, president of global business development.

Bottom Line:

This has been an exciting week for Four Seasons. Just yesterday, the brand announced an exciting return of the flagship Four Seasons Hotel New York. That hotel will open for guests in mid-November and will feature several new amenities.

Booking Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts

If you’re already planning a stay at the Four Seasons Mykonos (and we don’t blame you), you’re probably wondering how to book a stay there.

Unlike most large hotel chains, Four Seasons does not have a loyalty program, a points currency, or elite status.

But don’t let that discourage you! You still can get high-end perks (and credit card points) at a handful of Four Seasons properties. Many properties participate in American Express’s Fine Hotels + Resorts or Chase’s The Luxury Hotel & Resort CollectionThe benefits can vary by issuer, but room upgrades, resort credits, and complimentary breakfast are generally included.

Hot Tip:

Final Thoughts

It’s been a busy but exciting week for Four Seasons as 2 new hotels have been announced. The resort in Mykonos will certainly be popular for travelers looking for a high-end option on the island, and we might see you there once it opens.
