Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts announced on February 14 that it will further expand in Asia, with the announcement of a new property in Taipei, Taiwan.

Four Seasons Hotel Taipei To Open in the Heart of the City
Four Seasons says the 31-story Four Seasons Hotel Taipei will have approximately 260 guest rooms and suites. The rooms on the top floor will have panoramic views of Taipei and mountain ranges.
The hotel will be directly across from the famed skyscraper Taipei 101, catering to business and leisure travelers due to its convenient location. There will be numerous dining options, including a high-end Chinese restaurant, an all-day restaurant, a pool bar, and a lobby lounge.
Amenities include an executive club lounge, fitness center, and an outdoor pool and spa. In addition, the Four Seasons Hotel Taipei will boast several meeting and event spaces, including a grand ballroom, a junior ballroom, and a ground-level garden space that will also be available for events.
It’s unclear when the Four Seasons Hotel Taipei will open. The chain says construction has begun on the property, and it will open “in a few years’ time.”
Four Seasons says Taipei has been a target destination for the brand as it seeks to expand its portfolio in Asia. Four Seasons has more than 2 dozen hotels in the Asia Pacific region, including properties in Beijing, Hong Kong,Seoul, and Tokyo.
“This project will be a destination of choice in Taipei for both locals and travelers, combining thoughtful design, world-class restaurants and bars, and of course, personalized service by incredible Four Seasons people,” said Bart Carnahan, the president of global business development and portfolio management at Four Seasons, in a statement.

Four Seasons is opening a new hotel in Taipei, Taiwan, one of the most popular destinations for travel in Asia.
