With spring upon us and summer right around the corner, there’s no doubt that many families will be considering a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. One of the things you’ll want to think about when planning a trip to Disney World is whether or not to purchase a dining plan.

Now, it’s possible to get one for free. Here are the details of this new offer for select Disney cardholders.

How To Get a Free Disney Dining Plan

If you have a Disney® Visa® Card and are planning a trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando this year, you’ll want to check out this new promotion.

Disney Visa cardholders can get a free Disney dining plan when they use their card to purchase a non-discounted 4-night/4-day package that includes park tickets with the Park Hopper option on select dates at select resorts.

This offer is only valid for arrivals on the following dates in 2024:

  • July 1 to July 31
  • September 1 to September 7
  • December 9 to December 21

Packages including select Disney Value and Moderate Resorts will get a free Disney quick-service dining plan. Packages including select Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts will get a free Disney dining plan.

There are a limited number of packages available, so you’ll want to book as soon as possible. Select room types are excluded from this promotion, and the Disney cardmember must be staying in the room.

These packages can be booked online, by phone at (407) 939-5277, or through a travel agent.

Bottom Line:

There’s a new offer on the Disney Visa card — you can get a free Disney dining plan when booking select 4-night/4-day packages for select travel dates that include a stay at select Disney resorts and theme park ticket with the Park Hopper option. These packages are limited, so act fast.

Cardholders of the Disney Visa card are now eligible for a free Disney dining plan when booking select non-discounted 4-night/4-day packages for Disney World in Orlando.

This is a nice perk if your travel dates happen to fall during the promotional dates, which are a bit limited. However, this could be a good way to score a free dining plan if you can make it work.
