Huge news from the Denver-based Frontier Airlines: the ultra-low-cost airline is launching nonstop service from more than 3 dozen airports in the U.S. and Caribbean.

Let’s take a look at this exciting route announcement!

Frontier Major Route Expansion Starts April 2024

Frontier is expanding its service at a whopping 38 airports across its network. The list of airports and destinations is lengthy, so you can take a look at the complete list.

Some new routes coming to Frontier’s network include Denver (DEN) to New York-LaGuardia (LGA), San Juan (SJU) to St. Croix (STX), and Indianapolis (IND) to Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW).

While most routes are within the U.S. or territories like Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands, some new international routes are coming to Mexico and St. Maarten, for instance.

The routes go into service starting in April 2024 and will continue through early June.

“This is a massive expansion of our operation from coast to coast and internationally as part of our focus on growing in underserved and overpriced routes,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design at Frontier Airlines.

Hot Tip:

Check out Frontier’s GoWild! All-You-Can-Fly Passes if you’re interested in unlimited flights at a discounted rate.

How to Book

These flights are available to be booked on flyfrontier.com.

Make sure to book with a credit card that rewards for airfare or travel purchases, such as The Platinum Card® from American Express, Chase Sapphire Reserve®, or Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card. All 3 cards offer bonus points on airfare and come with perks such as complimentary lounge access upon enrollment. You’ll also receive impressive welcome bonus offers when opening the cards.

Final Thoughts

Frontier launching 38 routes across its network is excellent news, particularly for the smaller and mid-size airports that will have more connectivity across the U.S. — a perfect way to start the spring and summer travel season!
