Update:

The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

Frontier Airlines’ popular “Friends Fly Free” promotion is back.

Discount Den members can book friends or family members on their flight and get a significant discount. Additionally, new Discount Den members who sign up on August 18 and 19 will get the $99 membership for free!

Today’s deals are just the start of more Frontier deals set to launch this week.

“Frontier is ready to be your new low-fare airline, and this is just the first of many can’t-miss offers we have in store this week,” said Jeff Werkheiser, senior director of brand and customer engagement at Frontier.

Let’s take a look at the terms, conditions, and details to help you decide if it’s the right kind of deal for you.

Frontier’s ‘Friends Fly Free’ and Discount Den Membership Promotion — The Details

This promotion is exclusively available to members of Discount Den, Frontier’s annual membership program that costs $99.99 for the first year. Discount Den offers access to lower fares, special promotions, and even the airline’s Kids Fly Free perk on eligible flights. New members who sign up on August 18 and 19 will have their first year’s $99 fee waived.

No discount code is needed. All that is required is booking 2 or more passengers for the same flight. If you’re a Discount Den member, base fares for all passengers on the booking will automatically be halved. This is the equivalent to getting 1 ticket for free when making a booking for 2 people, just paying the taxes for the second person.

The follow terms and conditions apply:

  • Flights must be booked before 9:59 p.m. EDT on August 19, 2025.
  • Flights must be booked 14 days prior to travel.
  • The promotion is not available on all routes.
  • Travel between September 2 and September 30, 2025.
Bottom Line:

To make the most of this offer, you’ll need to plan your trip by August 19 and travel between September 2 and 30, 2025.

Is It Worth It?

Getting 50% off the base fare of each passenger on your booking sounds great. It’s even better when you realize this offer applies to bookings of up to 8 people, so you could take the whole gang somewhere fun and get 50% off the base fare for each passenger.

However, with this type of promotion, there are some restrictions to consider. It’s only available to Discount Den members, not the general public, and the travel and booking windows are very short. It doesn’t give you much time for planning and executing your trip.

Final Thoughts

Frontier’s “Friends Fly Free” promotion is a great way to save money. If you can work around the restrictions, it makes for a great deal, even with the requirement of a Discount Den membership.

Still, when combined with the airline’s other promotions — like free checked bags and Economy Bundle perks — this deal can offer solid value for budget-conscious travelers.
