Frontier Airlines has announced 4 vacation-worthy routes to its schedule for summer, launching as soon as May 16, 2024.

The low-cost carrier is marking its return to the New York metro area, bringing back service to Newark Liberty International Airport and inaugurating its first-ever service from John F. Kennedy International Airport. In the West, Frontier will also welcome a few new flights.

Here’s a round-up of Frontier’s new routes coming this spring and summer.

Frontier Announces 4 New Routes for Summer 2024

The biggest piece of news from Frontier’s announcement is the new service from New York-JFK to San Juan (SJU), which signifies the airline’s first-ever flight from the major New York airport.

Frontier will be the only true low-cost airline to operate service on the route, with fares starting at $59 one-way. That’s around half the price of Delta and JetBlue, which also operate multiple daily flights to the popular beach destination.

After a 2-year hiatus, Frontier will also connect Newark (EWR) with San Juan (SJU), marking its second new service to the Caribbean island from the New York area. One-way fares for this route also start at $59.

Along with the announcement, Frontier is also adding 2 new services in California and Arizona.

The first to take to the skies is from Phoenix (PHX) to Los Cabos, Mexico (SJD) on May 16, 2024, as well as a new intra-California route between San Francisco (SFO) and Santa Ana (SNA) on July 11, 2024.
