Frontier Airlines is about to introduce a touch of premium to its low-cost cabins.

The ultra-low-cost carrier has unveiled a new premium seating option called UpFront Plus, which comes with some extra comforts that you’d usually associate with domestic business class.

“Frontier is all about choice and giving consumers the flexibility to customize their travel to suit their individual needs and preferences,” said Barry Biffle, CEO at Frontier Airlines. “UpFront Plus is a great option for those who want expanded personal space and extra comfort.”

Here are all the details about Frontier’s new premium offering.

What You Can Expect Frontier’s UpFront Plus Seat

Frontier’s all-new UpFront Plus seats in rows 1 and 2 feature a blocked middle seat, meaning there’ll be no fighting over elbow space on the armrests when you book these seats.

Ultimately, UpFront Plus will give passengers the feeling of more space and comfort.

Beginning on March 13, 2024, passengers can elect this new seat category on Frontier flights departing after April 10, 2024.

“With the recent introduction of our new Biz Travel For Less program, UpFront Plus seating will also provide an affordable upgrade option for those traveling on business seeking additional space,” said Biffle.

This brings the total number of seat options to 4, as UpFront Plus joins Premium, Preferred, and Standard seating.

Final Thoughts

Starting on April 10 when flying with Frontier Airlines, passengers can now enjoy extra space and comfort by choosing UpFront Plus seats. These seats are located in the first 2 rows and are available for an additional fee starting at $49.

We’ll be sure to let you know what it’s like as soon as we’ve tried it for ourselves!
