Ultra-low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines has built a reputation for adding and removing routes to and from its network at a fairly rapid clip.

While its “dartboard” approach to its network structure can be difficult to keep up with, we’re getting a few months of advance notice of its latest round of changes, which sees in excess of 30 routes being eliminated from its network.

Let’s take a look at all the details of these upcoming cuts from Frontier.

Frontier Eliminating Dozens of Routes This Fall

The latest Frontier Airlines cuts affect numerous cities across the carrier’s network. Some cities will see multiple routes cut, while others will just see 1 or 2.

First, let’s look at the single routes being eliminated from the network this fall:

Now, let’s look at the cities that will see multiple Frontier routes cut:

Dallas-Ft. Worth (DFW)

  • Grand Rapids, Michigan (GRR)
  • Puerto Vallarta (PVR)

Norfolk, Virginia (ORF)

New Orleans (MSY)

Orlando (MCO)

Cancun (CUN)

Cleveland (CLE)

  • Charleston (CHS)
  • Jacksonville (JAX)
  • New Orleans (MSY)
  • Myrtle Beach (MYR)
  • Pensacola, Florida (PNS)
  • Savannah (SAV)

Philadelphia (PHL)

  • Columbus (CMH)
  • Indianapolis (IND)
  • Knoxville, Tennessee (TYS)
  • Milwaukee (MKE)
  • Pensacola, Florida (PNS)
  • St. Louis (STL)

It’s fairly common for low-cost carriers to add and remove routes quickly, though Frontier has become the most notorious for this practice. In fact, we wouldn’t be at all surprised if we saw the airline announce another tranche of new routes soon, as it works to see what routes stick and which ultimately flop.

Final Thoughts

Frontier Airlines will eliminate more than 30 routes from its network as of this fall. Some cities, including Cancun, Cleveland, and Philadelphia, will see several routes cut, while others are seeing smaller reductions.

If Frontier flies to your city and you’re looking to make travel plans this fall, refer to this list to ensure the airline will still be operating the route(s) you’re interested in booking.
