Update: The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.
Frontier’s status match promotion that the airline previously ran at the end of 2020 is back — only this time you have even more airline and hotel options to match from! If you fly with Frontier at least a few times each year, this status match is likely to be well worth it thanks to the benefits you’ll receive on future flights.
Let’s take a look at what airline and hotel programs are eligible for the status match, what status with Frontier you’ll be matched to, and the new benefits you’ll receive.
Frontier Status Match Details
To start the status match, you’ll first need to have a Frontier Miles account, then head to frontierstatusmatch.com, log in to your account, and complete the elite status validation form. You’ll need to pay a $49 application fee to apply, and once your application is approved, your matched status will be finalized within 72 hours. Your new Frontier Miles elite status will be valid through December 31, 2022.
If you’re interested, you need to submit your application by December 31, 2021, but sadly, those who participated in Frontier’s 2020 status match are not eligible to do so again.
Eligible Airlines Programs
Here is a look at the 15+ supported airline programs that you can status match from:
Perhaps the most interesting option is that the Southwest Companion Pass, which can be obtained via credit card welcome bonuses, will match you to top-tier Frontier Elite 100K status.

the WORKS bundle
Frontier Elite 100K status is obviously the most valuable thanks to its free Discount Den membership (which gets you cheaper Frontier flights), free checked bags, and free the WORKS bundle on all Frontier flights. However, even the low-end Elite 20K status can be extremely valuable to Frontier flyers since it offers a free carry-on bag, free seat assignment, priority boarding, waived award redemption fees, and the ability to pool your points together — which is massively helpful for traveling families.

This is certainly an excellent deal to take advantage of for those who fly with Frontier. While the status match does come with a $49 charge, you could easily recoup this back on 1 Frontier flight with what you would save on baggage fees alone. Again, if you’re planning to jump on this offer, make certain that you do so before the December 31, 2021 deadline!
