Hilton is planning a massive expansion in Türkiye and will add more than 1,600 hotel rooms in the country by 2026.

There’s a lot to cover with Hilton’s growth strategy in Türkiye, so let’s dive right in!

Hilton’s Expansion Includes 5 Different Brands

Hilton has announced that 5 brands—Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Curio Collection by Hilton, DoubleTree by Hilton, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and Hampton by Hilton, are in the pipeline for Türkiye.

The upcoming hotels include:

  • Hilton Istanbul Airport: Scheduled to open in 2025, the 491-room hotel will have a restaurant, a lobby bar, a café, a pool, and more.
  • Les Temps Istanbul Karakoy, Curio Collection by Hilton: Opening in 2025, the hotel will have 93 guest rooms and will feature a rooftop bar with views of old town Istanbul.
  • DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel and Suites Istanbul Altunizade: Opening in 2024, this hotel will have 240 studios and one-bedroom suites. Amenities will include an indoor pool, spa, and fitness facilities.
  • Ritus Hotel Istanbul Sultanahmet, Tapestry Collection by Hilton: Scheduled to open in 2025, this is the debut of the Tapestry Collection brand in Türkiye. The hotel will have 51 rooms.

Additionally, Hilton will expand its Hampton by Hilton brand in the country, with the following hotels scheduled to open by the end of 2026: Hampton by Hilton Antalya Airport, Hampton by Hilton Ankara Airport, Hampton by Hilton Adana Bati, Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Sisli and Hampton by Hilton Merter.

“Türkiye is an incredibly dynamic market, with huge opportunity for growth,” said Patrick Fitzgibbon, Senior Vice President of Development, Europe, Middle East and Africa at Hilton. “Our latest agreements, including an exceptional new Hilton Hotels & Resorts property at Istanbul Airport – are testament to the considerable demand for our brands across the country.”

Booking Hilton Hotels in Türkiye

Hilton has over 100 hotels open or under development in Türkiye, with nearly 3 dozen more properties in the pipeline.

These include high-end options like the Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus (starting at 47,000 Hilton Honors points or $165 per night) and Hagia Sofia Mansions Istanbul, Curio Collection by Hilton (starting at 53,000 points or $176 per night).

Hot Tip:

Earning Hilton Honors points is pretty easy, as the hotel chain offers several co-branded credit cards with welcome bonuses and elite status. You can also transfer points from American Express, take a Lyft ride, or eat out through Hilton Honors Dining.

Final Thoughts

Hilton is closing out 2023 with some big news from Türkiye, as the brand is expanding its hotels and resorts in the country in a big way. By 2026, Hilton customers who plan to visit Türkiye will have a wide range of hotel options available nationwide.
