IHG’s Holiday Inn brand has debuted its “Open Lobby” concept in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the opening of the Holiday Inn Riyadh The Business District.
The newly opened hotel is one of many that’s slated to open as part of the Kingdom’s Saudi Vision 2030 plan to increase tourism to the region.
Here’s what we know about the new hotel.
Open Lobby Concept
Holiday Inn Riyadh The Business District’s Open Lobby concept is a staple of the ubiquitous brand. In this newest installment, guests can look forward to the familiar mix of lounge, dining, and work spaces in the main hub of the hotel’s lobby.
Located just 10 minutes from King Khalid International Airport (RUH) in Riyadh’s central business district, it’s an ideal destination for business as well as leisure travelers.
The 138-room hotel comes with 18 suites, 2 swimming pools, a gym, and a 24/7 concierge. Families will enjoy family rooms, connecting suites, and Holiday Inn’s signature offering that kids eat free.
Dining options include Casa Oliva restaurant where guests can find authentic Italian dishes as well as fusions inspired by Saudi cuisine. L’Espresso Bar will offer coffee, drinks, and snacks.
IHG loyalists can look forward to several more Holiday Inn properties that are slated to open across the Middle East. Holiday Inn Jeddah Corniche and Holiday Inn Riyadh, Al Malaz, both located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Holiday Inn Dubai Business Bay will all open by the end of 2023.
How To Book Holiday Inn Riyadh
Holiday Inn Riyadh The Business District is available to book now through the hotel’s website. Standard rooms start at $157 or 27,000 IHG One Rewards points per night.
It’s relatively easy to earn IHG One Rewards points. IHG offers 3 credit cards — 2 personal and 1 business — all issued by Chase. You can also transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards or Bilt Rewards points to IHG One Rewards at a 1:1 ratio.
You can also earn points for dining out when enrolling in the IHG One Rewards Dining program, using IHG Business Rewards and earning points for hosting qualifying events, or purchasing IHG One Rewards points.
Holiday Inn Riyadh The Business District is the brand’s first Middle Eastern property to feature the signature Open Lobby concept. And, it signals a new wave of Holiday Inn properties opening across the region in the near future.
