Hyatt is debuting its high-end Unbound Collection brand in Davos, Switzerland.

Let’s check out this historic hotel — and how to book it with World of Hyatt points!

Flüela Davos Is Switzerland’s Fourth Hyatt-Branded Hotel

Hotel Flüela Davos has 51 guest rooms and suites and is a member of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt.

Located more than 5,000 feet above sea level, rooms at the hotel offer amenities such as a private ski locker, spa access, a ski butler, and discounts on ski equipment.

Hotel amenities include 2 steam rooms, a relaxation room, 2 treatment rooms, an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor hot tub, a gym, more than 5,000 square feet of meeting space, and several dining options.

The hotel should be popular with leisure and business travelers, with the Davos Conference Center (home to the annual World Economic Forum) just a mile away.

“Since 1868, Hotel Flüela Davos has been a beloved landmark, steeped in rich history, making it the perfect addition to the storied hotels within The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, and a strategic location for the growth of Hyatt’s luxury portfolio across Europe,” said Benno Geruschkat, Area Vice President, Hyatt.

Bottom Line:

This is Hyatt’s fourth branded property in Switzerland, after the Hyatt Place Zurich Airport The Circle, Hyatt Regency Zurich Airport The Circle, and Park Hyatt Zurich. Hyatt also has several Small Luxury Hotels Collection properties in the country.

Booking Hotel Flüela Davos With World of Hyatt Points

Hotel Flüela Davos is now open for guests and is participating in the World of Hyatt program, allowing you to earn and redeem points at the property.

The hotel is a Category 7 property, so award nights start at 25,000 points per night, up to 35,000 points per night for peak dates. Cash rates are also available starting at $381 per night for dates next March.

Earning World of Hyatt points isn’t easy — in fact, they are perhaps the most difficult hotel points to earn. But they are incredibly valuable, especially in parts of Europe.

You can earn World of Hyatt points by transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards or Bilt Rewards points to Hyatt at a 1:1 ratio. You can also earn points through welcome bonuses and spending on 1 of Hyatt’s co-branded credit cards.

Final Thoughts

With the launch of Hotel Flüela Davos in Switzerland, Hyatt now provides options to business and leisure travelers visiting the Swiss Alps. If you find yourself in pricey Davos, this hotel is definitely a sweet spot since award nights start at only 25,000 points per night (for off-peak times), and rates can be sky-high!
