IHG is bolstering its presence in sunny Florida with the opening of a new Hotel Indigo property in beautiful Panama City.

Here’s what you need to know about the new hotel.

Hotel Indigo’s Sixth Florida Property

Hotel Indigo Panama City Marina has 124 rooms and is a prime walkable area of the city, close to hot-spot destinations such as Martin Theatre and Panama City Center for the Arts.

The hotel has a rooftop bar serving seafood and cocktails, and an on-site restaurant will serve Southern cuisine.

Amenities at the property include 1,033 square feet of event space, a 965-square-foot outdoor patio, a 24-hour fitness center, an on-site marketplace, an outdoor pool, and a fire pit. The hotel is located just a 40-minute drive from Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP).

“The opening of Hotel Indigo Panama City Marina illustrates our brand’s commitment to doubling our portfolio globally over the next three to five years.,” said Carol Hoeller, Vice President of Hotel Indigo. “This seaside hamlet is truly one of a kind, so it made sense for us to open a property that not only breathes new life into the neighborhood but is also a place where guests and locals can come together and immerse in this vibrant community’s past.”

Booking Hotel Indigo Panama City Marina

Hotel Indigo Panama City Marina is now open for guests and is participating in the IHG One Rewards program. That means you’ll be able to earn and redeem IHG One Rewards points toward a stay at the hotel.

Rates are pretty reasonable, with award nights starting at just 27,000 points per night for dates in August.

IHG One Rewards points are among the easiest hotel points to earn.

If you stay at IHG hotels often, you may want to consider opening a co-branded IHG One Rewards credit card. IHG offers 2 personal and 1 business credit card, all issued by Chase.

Additionally, you can also earn points for dining out when enrolling in the IHG One Rewards Dining program, using IHG Business Rewards and earning points for hosting qualifying events, or purchasing IHG One Rewards points.

Bottom Line:

If you have points through Chase Ultimate Rewards or Bilt Rewards credit cards, these can be transferred to IHG One Rewards at a 1:1 ratio.

Final Thoughts

Panama City is one of the most sought-after travel destinations in Florida, particularly for spring break travelers and families. That’s why a new Hotel Indigo property — especially one with reasonable award rates — is fantastic news for travelers!
