Ka Laʻi Waikīkī Beach, LXR Hotels & Resorts

Hilton has completed a $100 million transformation of Ka Laʻi Waikīkī Beach, marking the first LXR Hotels & Resorts property in Hawaiʻi. The reimagined resort features 238 residential-style studios and suites, refreshed public spaces, locally inspired artwork, and 3 new dining concepts. These include the Pacific Rim-focused Kini Room, the cocktail-driven Muse Lounge, and Bloom Cafe & Restaurant, which serves breakfast overlooking Waikīkī.

Beldersoy Resort & Spa, Destination by Hyatt

Hyatt has opened its first Destination by Hyatt property in Uzbekistan, marking the country’s first premium mountain resort. Located in the Beldersoy mountains near Tashkent, the resort has 109 rooms and 36 private villas, all with mountain views. Guests have direct access to ski slopes, hiking, and biking trails, while the wellness facilities include indoor and outdoor pools, a mineral-enriched seawater pool, a floating pool, and an infinity pool overlooking the mountains.

Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere

Fairmont has opened its fifth property in the U.K. and Ireland following a major renovation of The Mere, a countryside resort set on a 157-acre estate outside Manchester. The property now has 116 rooms, including 23 suites, along with a 1,715-square-meter spa, a 20-meter indoor pool, and a new Gordon Ramsay restaurant.

W Riyadh – KAFD

Marriott has opened the first W hotel in Saudi Arabia in Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial District. The 210-room W Riyadh – KAFD includes 17 suites, 2 penthouse suites, and a massive W Penthouse with 2 bedrooms, a kitchenette, an office, and private fitness and spa facilities. The property also features several dining venues, an outdoor WET Deck, an AWAY Spa, and 15 meeting rooms.

Liberté 33, Ascend Collection

Choice Hotels has opened Liberté 33 in Poznań, Poland, expanding its Ascend Collection portfolio in Europe. Located near the city’s Old Town, the boutique hotel occupies a restored historic villa and a contemporary annex. Amenities include a restaurant and bar, wellness facilities, a fitness center, and flexible meeting and event spaces.

Future Hotel Announcements

Regent Chengdu (2029)

IHG will bring its ultra-luxury Regent brand to Chengdu in the third quarter of 2029. The 180-room hotel will occupy floors 39 through 48 of a 233-meter tower in the city’s Jinjiang District. Plans call for panoramic skyline and river views, signature restaurants, a spa, and Regent’s personalized Experience Agent service.

Six Senses AMAALA (2026)

Set to open later this month, Six Senses AMAALA will debut along Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast as one of the region’s most anticipated luxury resorts. The property will feature 100 suites and villas, 25 branded residences, 3 restaurants, a cooking school, and an extensive wellness complex.

The Shepherd Mayfair (2026)

The Shepherd Mayfair is scheduled to open in London on September 1, 2026. The 82-room boutique hotel occupies the site of Mayfair’s oldest known house and will include 3 dining and drinking venues: Fayre, The Lounge, and a late-night cocktail bar called Teddy’s.
