Hyatt’s newest all-inclusive brand has opened a new property in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, giving World of Hyatt members another option to earn and redeem points at an adults-only all-inclusive property in one of the Caribbean’s most popular destinations.

The opening supports Hyatt’s recent push to expand its all-inclusive options in destinations across the Caribbean, including the Dominican Republic.

Here’s everything you need to know about the new Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana Is Now Open

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana is now open for guests in the Dominican Republic.

If you’re not familiar with Hyatt Vivid Hotels & Resorts, we wouldn’t blame you. It’s currently one of the smallest brands in the Hyatt family, with just 3 resorts in Mexico and the Dominican Republic: Hyatt Vivid Cancun, Hyatt Vivid Playa del Carmen, and the newly opened Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana.

The Hyatt Vivid brand is an adults-only, all-inclusive brand that emphasizes wellness and cultural experiences inspired by a property’s locale.

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana offers 467 guest rooms and suites (including swim-up options), a convention space that accommodates up to 1,000 attendees, a spa, indoor and outdoor gyms, pickleball and tennis courts, a juice bar, 5 restaurants, 4 pools, a sports bar, a speakeasy jazz club, and more.

Hot Tip:

The Dominican Republic remains one of the most popular destinations in the Caribbean and has a wide range of resorts, including all-inclusive options. In addition to easy access from the U.S. and gorgeous beaches, this Caribbean nation offers activities for the whole family, including snorkeling, boating, ATV adventures, and more.

How To Book Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana

Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana participates in the World of Hyatt program, meaning guests can earn and redeem World of Hyatt points for stays. World of Hyatt has a separate award chart for its all-inclusive properties, and Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana is a Category C resort, meaning award nights cost the following rates for 2 people:

  • Lowest: 20,000 points per night
  • Low: 25,000 points per night
  • Moderate: 30,000 points per night
  • Upper: 35,000 points per night
  • Top: 40,000 points per night

If your account needs a boost, there are a few ways to earn World of Hyatt points. You could sign up for a World of Hyatt co-branded credit card, both of which offer bonus points on Hyatt purchases and a healthy welcome bonus. Alternatively, you could transfer points from Bilt Rewards or Chase Ultimate Rewards. Depending on the specific credit card you have, Chase points transfer at a 1:1 or 4:3 ratio.

Final Thoughts

Hyatt’s all-inclusive expansion continues with the opening of the Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana. Even though the property was supposed to open in 2025, we’re nevertheless pleased to see a new Caribbean option for World of Hyatt members who want to redeem points for adults-only all-inclusive experiences.
