The number of bonus points you’ll earn depends on your eligible wedding spending:

Spend $5,000, earn 30,000 bonus points
Spend $10,000, earn 60,000 bonus points
Spend $20,000, earn 90,000 bonus points
Spend $30,000, earn 120,000 bonus points
Spend $40,000, earn 150,000 bonus points

On top of the bonus points, you’ll earn 2 qualifying night credits for every $5,000 in eligible spending. For example, a qualifying $40,000 wedding would earn 150,000 points and 16 elite night credits, putting you more than one-fourth of the way toward the 60 nights required for World of Hyatt Globalist status.

One important detail is that not every part of your wedding bill will count. Eligible spending generally includes qualifying catering and banquet charges, while taxes, gratuities, service charges, guest room revenue, and outside vendor expenses are excluded. Make sure to ask the hotel to confirm in writing which expenses will count as eligible spending before signing your contract.
