We value IHG One Rewards points at 0.5 cents each, making the welcome offer on the IHG Rewards Business card worth up to $1,000. Of course, the actual value you get from the welcome offer will depend on how you redeem your points and any free night certificates you add to a reservation.

It should come as no surprise that the 2 best cards from a benefits perspective are the IHG Premier card and the IHG Premier Business card — especially if you’re considering the business version.

Both help you earn 10x points on your IHG stays, offer automatic Platinum Elite status, and include a Global Entry, TSA PreCheck, or NEXUS credit, as well as an annual free night certificate. That said, they both charge annual fees, as well.

Given that, if you only occasionally stay at IHG hotels and are looking for a card to help enhance these stays with complimentary elite status while still giving you access to the fourth night free on award stays, all without having to pay an annual fee, then the IHG Traveler card would be the better option for you.

Final Thoughts

The IHG Premier Business card is currently offering an elevated welcome bonus offer of up to 200,000 IHG One rewards points, making it one of the best offers we’ve seen on the card.
