After initially being announced by IHG back in 2024, the gorgeous Hotel Indigo Grace Bay has opened its doors.

Rooms are available from March 1, 2026, and can be booked using cash, points, or a mixture of both.

Let’s take a look at Turks and Caicos’ hottest new arrival and the best ways to book a stay for yourself — as well as what’s happening with IHG’s other properties in the country.

Hotel Indigo Grace Bay: Turks and Caicos’ First-Ever IHG Property

Distinguishing itself from the larger resorts more commonly found in the Caribbean, the 56-room Hotel Indigo Grace Bay is a boutique-style sanctuary.

Room types include standard king rooms with a balcony, a terrace, or a balcony and pool view and rooms with 2 double beds with either a terrace or a balcony. The hotel’s website doesn’t currently display any suite options.

The on-site coffee shop, lobby bar, and restaurant are open to the public, while only guests have access to the outdoor pool and fitness.

Hotel Indigo is the first of 3 IHG hotels to open on the island. The next set to open are a Kimpton and an Intercontinental, which should open in 2027.

Best Ways To Book Hotel Indigo Grace Bay, Turks and Caicos

As Hotel Indigo is included in the IHG One Rewards loyalty program, you can use points (or a mixture of cash and points) to book a stay.

The cheapest nightly rate I found for using points outright is 64,666, which has an approximate cash value of $343, as per Upgraded Points’ latest valuations.

It’s also possible to use a mixture of points and cash to book stays at IHG properties. However, as the number of points decreases and the amount of cash increases, the true cash value of the stay becomes progressively more expensive than using points outright.

For the same time in September, cash rates for the same room start at $321.

Given that there’s only a $22 difference between the cash value of the point rate, it doesn’t make much difference which option you choose to book in this instance.

Hot Tip:

When paying in cash is the best option, consider a travel rewards credit card to get even more value from your booking.

Final Thoughts

IHG’s boutique-style Hotel Indigo is a great addition to the shores of Turks and Caicos. Hopefully, it’s not long before it’s joined by the Kimpton and Intercontinental.

Turks and Caicos doesn’t regularly see hotel openings that are affordable with points — especially points that are as easy to earn as IHG points — so this can be a great option for your next visit.
