Update:The offer mentioned below has expired and is no longer available.

Instacart+ has a new partnership that should make Chase cardholders happy: You can now get a free Peacock subscription with your complimentary Instacart+ membership.

It’s easy to sign up for the streaming service through your Instacart+ account. Here’s what you can expect from the new partnership.

Free Peacock Premium Subscription

Current Instacart+ members will now get Peacock Premium for free. This is the version of Peacock that comes with ads and a savings of almost $60 per year.

Chase cardholders receive varying levels of complimentary Instacart+ membership, so if you’ve activated this offer, you can also sign up for a free Peacock Premium subscription. Even without holding a qualifying Chase card, you can receive the subscription as a paying Instacart+ member.

Here are some of the Chase cards that offer a complimentary Instacart+ membership:

*Note that these memberships must be redeemed by July 31, 2024.

The streaming service subscription is free of charge for the duration of your Instacart+ membership. This also means that you can have Peacock Premium even if you’ve already had your complimentary membership for a while.

How To Sign Up

If you haven’t already, you can sign up for Instacart+ by adding an eligible Chase card to your account. From there, you can sign up for Peacock Premium in the Instacart mobile app.

Click on the 3 lines in the upper left corner and select Account. Next, select Instacart+ Membership where you’ll go to Unlock Special Offers to activate the Peacock offer. After clicking Activate Peacock Now, you’ll be taken to Peacock’s website to create your own account.

Peacock is home to live sports, movies, TV shows, and original content including “Bel Air,” “The Traitors,” and “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.”

Bottom Line:

Instacart+ members can now get a free Premium Peacock subscription just for being members.

Final Thoughts

In the age of streaming services and convenient food delivery apps, it’s a cool idea to combine the 2 into 1 package. Roku actually did this earlier in the year with DoorDash, and it will be interesting to see who’s next.
