Chase and Instacart have a strong partnership. They previously teamed up to offer up to 1 year of Instacart+ membership for select cardholders, recently launched the co-branded Instacart Mastercard®, and now are adding quarterly to monthly Instacart statement credits on many of its top cards.

Here’s a full look at all of the Instacart benefits you can receive depending on which Chase card you hold.

What Is Instacart+?

Instacart is the world’s largest online grocery delivery service — it can deliver products directly to your door from over 40,000 grocery stores.

Instacart+ is the delivery service’s membership program that eliminates the $3.99 delivery fee on orders over $35, gives you a 5% credit back on eligible pickup orders, and lowers the service fee from 5% to just 1.9% on all orders.

Usually, Instacart charges $99 a year for an Instacart+ membership but select Chase cardholders can now get anywhere from 3 months to 1 year of the service for free.

Further, you will have until July 31, 2024, to active the offer. This means that if you don’t already have an eligible Chase card, but decide to add one to your wallet between now and July 31, 2024, you’ll still be eligible for the offer!

New Instacart Statment Credits

As of August 1, 2022, select cards will now confer anywhere from a $10 statement credit each quarter to a $15 statement credit each month on Instacart orders after activating an Instacart+ membership.

Not only will you now save on delivery fees and service fees thanks to your Instacart+ membership, but now you’ll also be able to receive statement credits to save additional cash on many of your orders. This perk alone can save you anywhere from $40 to $180 per year on your Instacart orders.

Which Chase Credit Cards Are Eligible?

Here’s a look at which Chase cards are eligible for this offer, how long your complimentary Instacart+ membership will be, and what kind of statement credits you can expect:

To activate the offer, all you need to do is navigate to the Instacart Chase partnership page, enter your card details to add your eligible Chase card to your Instacart account, and then click Activate Now. After that, you can instantly start using your new Instacart+ benefits and your statement credits!

Hot Tip: If you’re hesitant about entering your card details, Instacart says you won’t be charged until after your free trial expires and that you’ll receive an email reminder before your free membership ends.

Final Thoughts

If you’re someone who regularly orders from Instacart already, or is interested in trying out the service to see if it saves you both time and money on your grocery delivery, this is the perfect time to take advantage of this offer. Plus, thanks to the new statement credits, you’re likely to save some money on a few orders each month or quarter.

Again, it’s available until July 31, 2024, so even if you don’t currently have 1 of the 10 eligible credit cards, you’ll still be able to receive the offer if you add one of these cards to your wallet before the expiration date.
