ITA Volare members can save up to 25% on award bookings for the next few weeks.

Those with Volare points will save anywhere from 10% to 25% of their points back, depending on the flight distance. You have until August 10 to book and until August 31, 2025, to fly.

Since there’s not much time to waste, let’s jump into the details on this new ITA Volare promotion.

ITA Volare Points Rebate Details

Italy’s ITA has left SkyTeam and is integrating into Star Alliance, now that it will merge into the Lufthansa Group of airlines. At some point, the Volare program will likely merge into the Miles & More program used by the other airlines in the Lufthansa Group.

Until then, Volare remains a standalone loyalty program, and members can enjoy a new promotion called “Promo Cashback Award Ticket.” This promo requires booking flights using Volare points by August 10, 2025.

This promotion offers up to 25% of your Volare points back as a rebate after booking a flight by August 10. Eligible flights are from July 10 to August 31, 2025.

The points rebate depends on the type of flight you book:

10% back for domestic itineraries
20% for international itineraries
25% for intercontinental itineraries

The points rebate is not considered a status-qualifying activity, and points rebates will go into your account within 60 days of an eligible flight. The rebate only applies to the points portion of an award ticket.

Unfortunately, only ITA-operated flights are eligible for this promotion. If you book an itinerary that has a mix of flights operated by ITA and others by partners, you’ll receive a points rebate on the ITA-operated portion of your trip.

Is It Worth It?

Getting 10% to 25% of your points back is definitely worth your attention. However, this promotion has a short window, and you need to book within the next few weeks and then travel by the end of August. That doesn’t work for everyone.

For anyone who has short-notice travel plans and needs to book an ITA flight using their Volare points, this promotion comes at the right time. It’s also great for those who have flexibility and will throw together an August getaway because of the ability to get points back after the flight.
