JW Marriott is making a big splash in central China, opening its second hotel in Xi’an in 2023.

Second JW Marriott Hotel Now Open in Xi’an

JW Marriott Hotel Xi’an Southwest has 292 rooms and suites in the Xi’an Hi-Tech Industry Development Zone.

Amenities include 2 restaurants, a lounge bar, brand signature JW Garden, 22,000 square feet of meeting space, a fitness center, and a swimming pool.

Xi’an Xianyang International Airport (XIY) is a roughly 40-minute drive from the hotel.

Bruce Rohr, JW Marriott Global Brand Leader, said the new hotel “embodies the tapestry of history, cultural richness and contemporary sophistication” in Xi’an.

“Xi’an is not only a rapidly developing hub but also a city with immense cultural and historical significance, making it a sought-after destination for tourists in northwest China,” said Vincent Leung, General Manager, JW Marriott Hotel Xi’an Southwest.
