JW Marriott at Reston Station Coming in 2025 [Near IAD Airport]

The ultra-luxe JW Marriott brand is coming to a city just outside Washington, D.C., next year.

Here’s what you need to know.

First JW Marriott Hotel in Virginia

The JW Marriott at Reston Station will have 243 guest rooms and suites and 94 condos for sale.

Amenities will include the JW Club, a fitness facility, a fine-dining restaurant, a bar, a cafe, and 25,000 square feet of meeting and event spaces.

The hotel will be located near the Wiehle-Reston East Silver Line station, which provides seamless access to destinations in Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. Additionally, the hotel will be located near Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), which will make this hotel attractive to passengers flying in or out of the airport.

The hotel is slated to open in mid-2025, though an exact opening date wasn’t mentioned.

“The addition of the JW Marriott Hotel to the Reston Station neighborhood will set a new standard for luxury and service in both the Dulles Corridor and the D.C. region,” said Michael George, President and CEO of Crescent Hotels & Resorts.

While this is JW Marriott’s first foray into Virginia, the brand does have a hotel in D.C., the JW Marriott Washington, DC — its first property.

Marriott’s decision to open a JW Marriott in Northern Virginia (as opposed to opening a new hotel in D.C. proper) comes on the heels of rapid growth in the region. Reston, a mixed-use planned community, is home to businesses such as Google and Rolls-Royce. The federal government also has a presence in the area. Plans for the area include more residential, office, dining, and entertainment spaces.
