Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has been on a roll lately with new hotels, and it has just announced a new property in Budapest, Hungary.

There’s a lot to cover, so let’s dive right into it!

First Kimpton Hotel in Budapest

Kimpton BEM Budapest is the conversion of a 19th-century mansion, now boasting 127 guest rooms and suites.

Kimpton Hotels are known to be boutiques, and are typically smaller in scale. However, IHG seems to have gone all out on amenities here. The hotel has 3 dining options: a signature restaurant, a rooftop bar, and an all-day lobby restaurant and bar.

Amenities include meeting and event spaces, a ballroom, a fitness center, a hot tub, and a steam room. Additionally, the hotel is pet-friendly — upon arrival, your furry friends will receive a bed, food, and water bowls.

“We are thrilled to be part of Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants’ first venture in Hungary’s capital! Kimpton BEM Budapest blends elegance and urban energy, just steps away from the stunning Danube River and Budapest’s top attractions,” said general manager Atilla AE Domby.

Hot Tip:

IHG has a small but mighty presence in the Hungarian capital. Its other luxury hotels include the InterContinental Budapest, Vignette Collection Verno House Budapest, and Crowne Plaza Budapest.

Booking Kimpton BEM Budapest

Kimpton BEM Budapest is now open for guests. The hotel is part of the IHG One Rewards program, so you can earn and redeem IHG One Rewards points here.

If you want to visit, the cheapest cash prices are in November, where rates start at $213 per night.

IHG One Rewards points are some of the easiest hotel points to earn. The chain has 3 co-branded credit cards, which come with welcome bonuses once you meet a minimum spending requirement.

Final Thoughts

The Kimpton BEM Budapest is an absolutely stunning property that’ll certainly appeal to IHG loyalists and casual fans alike. What makes this property even more intriguing is its affordability with cash or IHG points. If you find yourself in Budapest, make sure to add a stay at the Kimpton BEM to your list!
