Marriott is bringing its high-end Luxury Collection brand to Macau in January of next year.

Here’s what you need to know about this upcoming hotel!

Macau’s First Luxury Collection Hotel

Marking the debut of the Luxury Collection brand in Macau, Londoner Grand, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Macau, will feature a staggering 2,405 rooms and suites.

The hotel will have a Georgian-inspired design, and each suite will have Mayfair-inspired art and furnishings. Some suites will even have private pools.

Guests staying at the Londoner Grand Macau will have an array of amenities to keep them busy, including a spa, a fitness center, and 5 restaurants offering a variety of distinctive cuisines, including dim sum, Chinese, Cantonese, British pub favorites, and international fare.

Set to welcome guests in January 2025, the hotel will be situated in the vibrant heart of Macau’s Cotai Strip, placing the city’s top entertainment, shopping, and dining districts just steps away from guests.

Marriott announced the debut of the Luxury Collection brand in Macau, calling it “a destination that continues to attract travelers across the globe.”

“The highly anticipated hotel will blend Macau’s East-meets-West culture with The Luxury Collection’s distinctive perspective on luxury, providing our guests unparalleled access to a city rich with heritage, cuisine, and captivating experiences,” said Gavin Yu, chief development officer, Greater China, Marriott International.

Bottom Line:

The Luxury Collection is one of Marriott’s most exclusive brands under the “Luxury” umbrella, which also includes the EDITION, Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, JW Marriott, and W brands. It includes more than 100 hotels and resorts in 35+ countries.

Booking Londoner Grand Macau With Marriott Bonvoy Points

When the Londoner Grand Macau officially opens for guests in January, you can earn and redeem Marriott Bonvoy points for your stay.

Unfortunately, as of this writing, Londoner Grand Macau availability has not been published on Marriott’s website, so we don’t know the nightly rates or the cost of a room in points.

Fortunately, earning Marriott Bonvoy points is incredibly easy, even if you aren’t a loyalist. Both American Express Membership Rewards and Chase Ultimate Rewards points transfer to Marriott at a 1:1 ratio and, on occasion, will offer transfer bonuses. Marriott offers several co-branded credit cards with massive welcome bonuses and some form of elite status.

Final Thoughts

Marriott boasts an impressive array of high-end hotels in Macau, such as The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, and St. Regis. However, this marks the Luxury Collection’s first-ever arrival in Macau, a great development for travelers heading to the island. As we await the hotel to become available for booking, explore Marriott’s other offerings in Macau!
