Lufthansa has just introduced a new stopover program that lets travelers add a stay of up to 7 days in Munich, Germany, to their booking. Stopover programs are a fantastic way to experience 2 destinations during 1 vacation, and Lufthansa has made it easier than ever to add a Munich break at the start or end of an upcoming trip.

How To Book a Munich Stopover With Lufthansa

The new Lufthansa Stopover Program is available to passengers who begin their trip in Boston (BOS), Charlotte (CLT), Chicago (ORD), Los Angeles (LAX), Miami (MIA), New York City (JFK), San Diego (SAN), San Francisco (SFO), Seattle (SEA), and Washington, D.C. (IAD).

To see if your plans are eligible, start your search at Lufthansa’s stopover webpage. Enter your departure and arrival airports and your travel dates. Before you click Find flights, if your flight is eligible for a stopover, you’ll see a toggle to Add a Stopover in Munich. Once you toggle that on, enter how many nights you’d like to stop and whether you’d like to book it on your inbound or outbound flight, then click Find flights.

At the end of your booking, you can opt in to receive special promotions from local partners, including hotels, car rental companies, retailers, and sightseeing attractions. These should be emailed to you within 24 hours of booking. These transfers, tours, or tourist activities are not included and must be booked separately with the third-party partner.
