The Luxury Collection, a premium brand under Marriott Bonvoy, announced the opening of a new adults-only, all-inclusive hotel in Riviera Maya.

Paraiso de la Bonita, a Luxury Collection Resort, has joined Sanctuary Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic and Almare on Isla Mujeres in Mexico, making a total of 3 all-inclusive hotels for Marriott’s The Luxury Collection brand.

Let’s take a look at the details of this exciting new opening in Mexico.

Paraiso de la Bonita Becomes Third Luxury Collection All-Inclusive Resort

Paraiso de la Bonita, located just 20 minutes from Cancun International Airport (CUN) in Riviera Maya, is The Luxury Collection brand’s third luxury all-inclusive resort.

This adult-only Marriott hotel joins Sanctuary Cap Cana in the Dominican Republic and Almare on Isla Mujeres as the only all-inclusive properties for The Luxury Collection brand, with many more on the way.

Following a multi-million dollar renovation, Paraiso de la Bonita, a Luxury Collection Resort in Riviera Maya, now offers 100 oceanfront suites. Each suite includes private terraces or balconies, providing stunning ocean views.

The resort includes 4 restaurants that offer a variety of cuisines, including Mexican, Latin American, Mediterranean, and Chinese. Additionally, there are 3 bars where guests can enjoy innovative cocktails crafted by skilled mixologists.

In addition to a cutting-edge fitness center equipped with all necessary workout equipment, guests looking for a bit of pampering can book a service at the expansive 22,000-square-foot spa. This spa provides a variety of holistic treatments and therapies, including 9 treatment rooms, a seawater hydrotherapy pool, a sauna, and a steam room.

How To Book Paraiso de la Bonita, a Luxury Collection Resort

Paraiso de la Bonita, a Luxury Collection Resort, is part of the Marriott Bonvoy program, which allows members to earn and redeem points on stays. Additionally, since it’s an all-inclusive resort, your food and beverages are included.

Award nights start at 80,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per night, while cash rates start at about $550 per night.

It’s relatively easy to earn Marriott Bonvoy points, too. One of the best ways is to sign up for one of the many Marriott co-branded credit cards, which are currently offering elevated welcome bonuses.

You also can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points earned from several Chase credit cards and American Express Membership Rewards points earned from Amex credit cards over to Marriott at a 1:1 ratio.

Final Thoughts

Although Marriott has a great selection of upscale hotels in Mexico, including the Luxury Collection’s Almare on Isla Mujeres, this is only The Luxury Collection brand’s third all-inclusive resort worldwide, and it’s great news for travelers visiting the Riviera Maya.

We hope Marriott continues to grow its all-inclusive luxury resort portfolio, giving points enthusiasts more opportunities to maximize their Marriott Bonvoy points.
