Here’s what you need to know to earn bonus Marriott Bonvoy points while eating out this month.

Marriott’s current Eat Around Town promo runs from October 1 to October 31, 2023. The limited-time promo grants diners 8x Marriott Bonvoy points per dollar spent on in-restaurant dining as well as takeout at participating U.S. restaurants, of which there are more than 18,000.

You can earn an additional 1,000 Bonvoy points after 10 qualifying purchases.

Eat Around Town purchases usually earn 4x Bonvoy points per dollar spent, while Bonvoy elite status holders earn 6x Bonvoy points. Normal earning rates will continue on November 1, 2023.

With the Amex Gold Card, you earn 4x points for the first $50,000 spent in a year on dining, then 1x.

Alternatively, you could earn even more Marriott Bonvoy points when you link a co-branded credit card like the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant^® American Express^® Card which earns 3x per dollar on dining. This card also has an annual $300 dining credit.
