Keep reading to learn more about the all-new The Link Seoul, A Tribute Portfolio hotel in South Korea.

Marriott Tribute Portfolio’s First Hotel in South Korea

The Link Seoul, a Tribute Portfolio hotel, has officially opened its doors in the vibrant district of Sindorim in Seoul.

The hotel features a sleek modern Scandinavian design infused with Korean elements, creating a connection between travelers and the local community while honoring the area’s rich history as a textile industry hub, thanks to its decor.

“We are thrilled to bring Marriott Bonvoy’s Tribute Portfolio brand into South Korea with the opening of The Link Seoul,” said Duke Nam, area vice president of South Korea, Vietnam, and the Philippines for Marriott International. “Tribute Portfolio is a growing collection of characterful, independent, boutique hotels united by a common spirit and captivating spaces that bring people together and create experiences that connect travelers to the surrounding community.”

The hotel features 141 guest rooms, including 16 suites and a Presidential Suite, set across 19 floors. Its location is close to the city’s Gocheok Sky Dome, South Korea’s top concert venue, making it the ideal destination for global K-pop fans. It’s also just a 45-minute drive from Seoul’s Incheon International Airport.

Amenities include 4 dining options, a pool, a fitness center, and meeting rooms with high-resolution projectors and smart TVs.

The Link Seoul, A Tribute Portfolio is a hotel in the Marriott Bonvoy family of brands. As such, you will eventually be able to redeem Marriott Bonvoy points for free nights here. As of this writing, award nights were not yet loaded on the Marriott website. However, cash nightly rates start at $168 per night, so this may be a good hotel to pay the reasonable nightly rates and save your points.

Marriott offers several co-branded credit cards issued by both American Express and Chase, all of which offer solid welcome bonuses. You also can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points earned from several Chase credit cards and American Express Membership Rewards points earned from Amex credit cards, both transferring to Marriott at a 1:1 ratio.
