Let’s be honest: A trip to Las Vegas can sometimes feel like a bargain at the time of booking. After all, hotel rates are competitive, flights can be affordable, and you’re splitting the cost with friends.

But after booking a “cheap” room, suddenly you’re stacking on resort fees, meals, show tickets, and everything else that makes Vegas … well, Vegas.

Now, MGM Resorts International is trying to simplify that. The company just rolled out a new all-in-one package on the Strip that bundles a number of those typical extras into a single upfront price.

Here’s what you need to know.

What’s Included in MGM’s New Vegas Package

MGM is essentially testing a more all-in way to do Vegas, bundling your hotel, meals, entertainment, and a few extras into one upfront price instead of paying for everything separately along the way.

The new package is available at Luxor Hotel & Casino and Excalibur Hotel & Casino, with stays starting April 6. Pricing begins at $330 (plus tax) for a 2-night stay for 2 people, though it varies depending on your dates.

So what do you actually get?

  • Hotel stay: 2 nights in a standard room, with resort fees already included
  • Dining: 3 meals per day per guest (6 total per person), usable across some MGM restaurants
  • Entertainment: 2 tickets to 1 eligible show
  • Attractions: 2 rides on the Big Apple Coaster at the New York-New York Hotel & Casino
  • Parking: Self-parking for 1 vehicle

Meals are handled through digital vouchers, which you use at a mix of casual spots across nearby properties like the MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. It’s pretty straightforward, but it does mean you’ll likely be sticking to those participating restaurants rather than wandering wherever you want. Each meal includes certain drinks, though you still need to budget for tips.

You also get access to a handful of shows — think comedy, magic, and classic Vegas-style productions — with 2 tickets included per stay. That’s especially nice if you were already planning to catch a show anyway.

One thing I’d keep in mind: This isn’t the kind of package you can stretch or save for later. Everything is linked to your stay dates, so to truly maximize your investment, you should take advantage of the included amenities during your stay.

If you’re interested, you can check availability and book the package directly on MGM Resorts International’s website.

Hot Tip:

Not sold on staying at Luxor Hotel & Casino or Excalibur Hotel & Casino? Keep in mind that MGM Resorts International partners with Marriott, which means you can redeem Marriott Bonvoy points at certain MGM properties on the Strip — including more upscale hotels.

Final Thoughts

This is a different (and honestly pretty refreshing) way to do Vegas. If you like the idea of showing up and not stressing about every little charge, it makes things easy. But if your Vegas style leans more toward bouncing around and doing your own thing, you’ll probably still get more out of keeping things flexible.
