IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced that it will launch a new hotel brand that’s scheduled to officially launch later this year. Garner – An IHG Hotel will first debut in the U.S., though there are plans for a global expansion in the coming years.

Keep reading to learn more about the new midscale IHG brand known as Garner.

Garner To Be a Midscale Brand

IHG’s upcoming Garner brand will strive to offer guests a comfortable stay at an affordable price with offerings such as a complimentary hot breakfast. The brand promises to be found in convenient locations and to be ideal for anyone who desires a “reliable and relaxed experience,” according to a press release.

Each property will feature IHG Digital Check-in to make check-in faster. Lobbies will feature flavor-infused water, coffee, and snacks available throughout the day.

IHG says that no 2 Garner hotels will be the same — but guests should expect the same overall quality of services and products from each property.

The first Garner hotel is expected to be open by the end of 2023 with plans for over 500 hotels to open over the next 10 years in the U.S.

How To Book A Stay at Garner

Garner hotels are not yet available to book, however, the properties will participate in the IHG One Rewards program, which means you’ll be able to earn and redeem IHG One Rewards points for stays.

If you think you’d like to redeem points for a stay, remember that IHG offers 3 credit cards — 2 personal and 1 business — all issued by Chase. You can also transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards or Bilt Rewards points to IHG One Rewards at a 1:1 ratio.

You can also earn points for dining out when enrolling in the IHG One Rewards Dining program, using IHG Business Rewards and earning points for hosting qualifying events, or purchasing IHG One Rewards points.

Finally, you can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards or Bilt Rewards points to IHG One Rewards at a 1:1 ratio.
