‘Uber Ski’ Service Now Available for Riders This Winter

Ride-share giant Uber has launched a new service that will make it easier to reach the slopes this ski season. Meet Uber Ski, a new option for Uber riders that helps lock in rides guaranteed to fit them and all their gear.

Here’s what you need to know.

Uber Ski Is Now Available Through the End of March

The new Uber Ski option allows skiers and snowboarders to reserve rides up to 90 days in advance of arriving at popular ski gateways like Denver (DEN) and Salt Lake City (SLC), in addition to destinations across Canada, France, and Switzerland. It includes vehicles that are guaranteed to fit passengers and all their gear.

There are 2 Uber Ski vehicle options:

UberXL: Large enough to fit 2 passengers plus their gear
UberXXL: Large enough to fit 4 passengers plus their gear

To reserve an Uber Ski ride, simply click on the option marked Uber Ski on the home page of the Uber app’s (iOS, Android). The service is available through the end of March 2026.

There’s more to this story, though. Uber has partnered with Vail Resorts to bring the ability to purchase an Epic Pass or an Epic Day Pass directly through the Uber app.

If you only plan to ski or snowboard a few times, the Epic Day Pass offers discounts of up to 65% off the cost of lift tickets. And all pass holders get a 20% discount on food and beverages on the mountain, plus discounts on lodging, lessons, equipment rentals, and more.

As a reminder, the Epic Pass offers unlimited, unrestricted access to 42 mountain resorts owned by Vail Resorts across the U.S., Canada, and beyond. Those include Vail and Breckenridge in Colorado, Park City in Utah, Stowe in Vermont, and Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia, Canada, to name some of the most popular resorts.
