The Norwegian low-cost carrier is spreading its wings once again.
Established in 2021, the ultra-low-cost carrier offers dozens of flights between the U.S. and destinations throughout Europe, including Berlin (BER), Paris (CDG), and Rome (FCO).
Now, the carrier is turning toward expanding further at London’s Gatwick Airport, where it currently operates 3 transatlantic flights. Starting this summer, Norse Atlantic Airways plans to connect London to 4 more U.S. destinations as it expands its ever-growing route map!
Here’s what we know.
Norse Atlantic Launches 4 New Routes
Norse Atlantic Airways currently flies between 3 cities in the U.S. and London’s Gatwick Airport: Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Orlando (MCO), and New York (JFK).
Following the success of these routes, the airline will launch routes between the following U.S. cities and London-Gatwick:

These new routes will bring Norse Atlantic’s U.S. to London-Gatwick service to 7 routes and nearly 35 weekly departures.
“We are delighted to welcome four new Norse Atlantic routes this summer, giving passengers a fantastic choice of seven US destinations at excellent value, whether for holidays, business or visiting family and friends,” said Stewart Wingate, CEO of Gatwick Airport. “The new services mean Gatwick and Norse will provide an increasingly competitive offering, which is great news for passengers across London and the South East, as well as businesses in the region.”
Hot Tip: As a low-cost carrier, you’ll need to pay extra for seat assignments, carry-on and checked bags, and more. Fortunately, you can choose from Norse’s range of fares that best suits your needs: Light, Classic and Plus. The latter includes 2 meal services, 2 checked bags, and changeable tickets.
With the increased competition between these U.S. cities and London, these routes will hopefully see a drop in price — just in time for summer as we expect sky-high fares on legacy airlines like American Airlines and United Airlines.
Final Thoughts
Norse Atlantic Airways takes another huge step toward being the go-to low-cost carrier between the U.S. and Europe with the introduction of 4 new routes from London-Gatwick beginning this summer. These routes join the recently announced flights from New York to Rome, as well as 2 new routes from Florida to London.
With round-trip fares starting around $450 round-trip, you can book these new routes now directly on Norse’s website!
