Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) has seen a major boost to its lounge lineup. Plaza Premium Group has opened 2 brand-new lounges in Terminal D — Plaza Premium First and a new Plaza Premium Lounge — as of March 9, 2026.

DFW was the site of Plaza Premium’s first lounge in the U.S., though the location in Terminal E is quite small. These Terminal D locations are much better.

Plaza Premium Expands With 2 New Lounges in DFW’s Terminal D

Plaza Premium Group has grown its footprint at Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW), adding 2 additional lounges to the airport’s busy Terminal D to complement the existing Plaza Premium location in Terminal E. The good news is that many Plaza Premium lounges can typically be accessed through travel rewards cards like the Chase Sapphire Reserve^® and the Platinum Card^® from American Express since Plaza Premium lounges are accessible through a Priority Pass membership.

Update:

According to Priority Pass, as of June 21, 2026, “The Plaza Premium Lounge located in Terminal D is no longer part of the [Priority Pass] programme.”

The 2 new lounges are colocated, offering a traditional Plaza Premium lounge and a Plaza Premium First lounge. Both are located near gate 15 in Terminal D. While the Plaza Premium lounge is accessible with many lounge memberships, expect a $45 copay to access the First location, even when using your lounge membership.

The 2 new lounges — Plaza Premium First and Plaza Premium Lounge — complement the company’s existing presence at DFW, which includes its Terminal E lounge (opened in 2020) and ALLWAYS Meet & Assist services across all terminals.

Importantly for travelers, Terminal D is already one of the most lounge-rich areas of the airport, home to both the Capital One Lounge and the American Express Centurion Lounge. Now, Terminal D has even more options for passengers looking to relax before an international or domestic flight.

Plaza Premium Lounge

The standard Plaza Premium Lounge provides a comfortable space with seating, refreshments, high-speed Wi-Fi, charging stations, and a design that incorporates Dallas–Fort Worth elements. It’s an accessible option for a broad range of travelers. The lounge also has a bar, nursing room, prayer room, and showers (which may be subject to additional payment).

The Plaza Premium Lounge (International Departures, Terminal D) is open daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., with day passes starting at $68, though most Priority Pass memberships include access at no additional cost.

Plaza Premium First

The First lounge is the more upscale option, offering elevated dining, more privacy, personalized service, and expanded amenities aimed at travelers seeking a higher-end experience.

Amenities include bathrooms, a prayer room, nursing room, and showers (which may be subject to payment).

The Plaza Premium First (International Departures, Terminal D) is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., with day passes starting at $124 — though Priority Pass members can access it for a reduced co-pay of $45.

Hot Tip:

A Priority Pass membership is relatively easy to obtain through credit cards issued by card companies such as American Express, Chase, Citi, and Capital One.
