Travelers passing through JFK’s New Terminal One will soon enjoy 2 Plaza Premium lounges featuring luxury dining, exclusive spaces, and concierge services. Plaza Premium Brings Premium Lounges to JFK’s New Terminal One

The New Terminal One at New York (JFK) has partnered with award-winning Plaza Premium Group (PPG) to develop and operate 2 independent lounges totaling nearly 14,000 square feet, offering travelers a new spot to enjoy service and comfort before a flight.

Set to open in 2026, the New Terminal One is already generating buzz with airlines such as Korean Air and Qatar Airways on board, as both carriers have announced new lounges in JFK’s upcoming swanky terminal, promising elevated experiences for travelers.

The 9,300-square-foot Plaza Premium First lounge, located beyond security and open 24/7, will offer travelers à la carte dining, curated menus, and handcrafted cocktails from a dedicated bar.

The 4,200-square-foot Plaza Premium Lounge in the pre-security arrivals hall provides a different kind of experience, serving guests as they arrive or depart JFK. Conveniently located near the curbside entrance, it will offer restaurant-quality food, a full bar, showers, and a business center — perfect for travelers looking to freshen up after a flight or relax before checking in.

PPG will also bring its ALLWAYS Meet & Assist service to the terminal, offering concierge-style support from curb to gate. This includes check-in assistance, fast-track security, baggage handling, and meet-and-greet services — all bookable through PPG’s digital platform.

PPG’s lounges at JFK’s New Terminal One are a major step in its U.S. growth, fitting into the Port Authority’s $19 billion plan to elevate the airport to a world-class international hub.

Hot Tip:

Many travelers can access Plaza Premium Lounges with premium cards, such as the The Platinum Card® from American Express and The Business Platinum Card® from American Express, after enrolling for their card’s lounge benefits. Additionally, many Plaza Premium Lounge locations are accessible through Priority Pass, and while it hasn’t been confirmed yet for JFK’s New Terminal One lounges, it’s likely that travelers with Priority Pass membership will be able to enjoy access once the lounges open.

Final Thoughts

JFK’s New Terminal One will feature 2 new Plaza Premium lounges — a location beyond security and another in the arrivals hall — offering dining, drinks, showers, and relaxation spaces for travelers. While we don’t yet know exactly when the lounges will open, with the terminal scheduled to debut in 2026, it’s safe to anticipate that they could welcome guests sometime next year.
