Who doesn’t love double points on their hotel stays? The latest Preferred Hotels promotion offers just that, providing double I Prefer points on stays through April 30, 2025.

Here’s what you need to know.

Earn Double Points With Preferred Hotels

Those booking with Preferred Hotels can earn double points on stays until April 30, 2025. However, you need to register by March 31 and before any stays. Only stays completed after registering will qualify for bonus points.

Preferred Hotels operates the I Prefer loyalty program, and guests normally earn 10x points per $1 spent. With this offer, that’s doubled to 20x points.

Guests must book directly through Preferred Hotels to earn points. Also, you must be a valid I Prefer Member member, and the bonus points from this offer don’t count toward elite tier qualification. Moreover, the bonus points from elite tiers aren’t doubled — only your base points.

Keep in mind that this offer can’t be combined with other promotions.

How I Prefer Members Can Redeem Points

Preferred Hotels & Resorts is an upscale hotel brand that launched more than half a century ago. Underneath the Preferred Hotels umbrella are 5 individual brands of independent hotels: Connect, Legend, L.V.X., Lifestyle, and Preferred Residences.

Today, the chain has more than 650 locations in more than 80 countries.

The lowest award redemption options cost just 15,000 points a night, including properties like these:

The Clement Palo Alto in California
100 Luxury Suites in Bogota, Colombia
Salalah Gardens Hotel in Salalah, Oman

With the current promotion, a $750 hotel stay would yield 15,000 points — giving you enough for a stay at one of these properties.

Hot Tip:

Citi added the ability to transfer points to I Prefer in 2024, and you also can redeem Choice Privileges points for Preferred Hotels, giving you more options for your hotel reservations. That’s because you can book the same hotel in multiple ways.
