Qatar Airways is offering an interesting promotion to its Privilege Club members, providing an easy way to upgrade their elite status with the airline for a year.

All that’s required is booking a round-trip ticket in business or first class — though there are a few restrictions to be aware of.

Let’s take a look at everything you need to know.

Upgrade Your Qatar Airways Elite Status With Just 1 Flight

Qatar Privilege Club members who are interested in upgrading their elite status — or maintaining top-tier Platinum status — will be pleased to know that the airline is offering an easy way to do any of this.

Simply book a round-trip business- or first-class ticket through qatarairways.com or the Qatar Airways mobile app (iOS, Android) using the promo code LEVELUP by March 25, 2025. Flights must be completed by March 31, 2025, and your status will be upgraded by April 15, 2025.

However, there are some stipulations to be aware of before you jump on this promotion. First, your Qatar Airways Privilege Club account must be registered in one of a list of specific countries. You can view the full list here, but note that the U.S. is included.

Next, your trip must originate in any one of the following cities, sorted by region:

Finally, here are a few more things to keep in mind with this promotion:

  • The Qatar Airways Privilege Club number must be provided at booking. If you’re not yet a member, you can sign up for free here.
  • Travel must be completed by March 31, 2025.
  • One-way tickets are not eligible for the promotion.
  • If you already have Platinum status, your status will be extended for 1 year from your status expiration date.
  • Promotion is not eligible for tickets booked outside the booking window.
  • Any previously booked tickets that are reissued during the promotional window will not qualify for the promotion.
Hot Tip:

If you’re interested in this promotion, you’ll definitely want to check out what the experience is like in Qatar Airways’ incredible Qsuite business class!

Qatar Airways is offering an interesting promotion that will allow you to level up your elite status — or maintain the top tier — for a year. If you satisfy the various criteria required for eligibility, this is a really easy (and fun) way to boost your standing within the Privilege Club program.
