Rakuten is an online shopping portal that offers cash-back or bonus points on numerous online purchases, and rates can change often. Promotions can offer handsome rewards. An additional 1 or 2 clicks to go through Rakuten before making a purchase can put easy rewards back in your pocket.

You can opt not to earn cash-back from Rakuten and instead earn points from Amex Membership Rewards or Bilt Rewards. Based on our latest valuations, these rewards are worth twice as much as earning cash-back.
